IF ONWARD & UPWARD TO YOU APPEALS

…check out the Guild of the Seven Seals

We are the “Guild of Seven Seals,” founded in 1887 at Chautauqua as the graduate level of the Chautauqua Literary and Scientific Circle. The Guild’s motto is: “To learn, to teach, to serve, to enjoy.”

Our “Objective” as written at Chautauqua in 1887 is “To emphasize the spirit of the CLSC, to stimulate members to continue reading books, and following other lines of study offered by the Chautauqua Literary and Scientific Circle.”

We “Seals” welcome all CLSC graduates to join the Guild. The Guild is all about lifelong learning and great books. To learn more about us and what we do please peruse our web page at www.guildofsevenseals.com, or e-mail Gary Doebler at garydoebler@ gmail.com.
